Here's a question to add to my FAQ page: "Why are
the velvet pillows and scarves so expensive!?" Well, if you've read about
the process, you know I'm working with
melted wax. Velvet is a very thick material and is difficult to work
with. I kind of hate it. But it soaks up the dyes and ends up so
vibrant and beautiful, I am forced to forgive it. In any case -- it's a lot of work! |
